Patrick Schuchard is a visual artist, designer, entrepreneur, preservationist, and developer with a vibrant, eclectic career spanning more than forty years.
He has exhibited paintings and sculpture in museums and galleries throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. His work appears in major public, corporate, and private collections nationwide, and he is widely recognized as one of the most accomplished museum-quality portrait artists working today.
He has designed and produced over a dozen large-scale public art projects and murals, and serves as a creator and consultant for light rail systems, community development initiatives, artist housing, and architectural projects across the country. Central to his practice is the restoration and reimagining of historic properties, transforming overlooked structures into vital cultural spaces.
Mr. Schuchard and his wife Carol—both visual artists, designers, entrepreneurs, preservationists, and developers—see these pursuits as interwoven parts of a single artistic vision rooted in place, craft, and community.
